Sanuk Has Permanently Closed Its Doors at Disney Springs
It’s another day, and another change has come to Disney Springs.
Sanuk, a sandals and footwear store that offered creative designs crafted from yoga mats and other non-traditional materials, has permanently closed its doors.
The store originally opened in The Landing section of Disney Springs in 2015, making it one of the area’s earliest tenants. Over the last nine years, the store has helped guests put their best foot forward with their comfortable collection of shoes.
“Discover an innovative men’s, women’s and kids’ footwear line that embodies laid-back lifestyles! Head on in for boots, flip flops, sandals, shoes, sidewalk surfers, slippers and yoga slings sure to keep the good vibes running high. Sanuk’s creative collection is crafted from a variety of non-traditional materials—including Astro Turf, faux shearling and yoga mats—for the ultimate in comfy fun,” Sanuk’s official description read.
“Taking surfers, artists, yogis and generations of smile-seekers to their happy place since 1997, this one-stop shop also carries accessories and other perfectly chill must-haves for free spirits of any age.”
Sanuk Has Closed, and the Store’s Signs Have Been Removed
When we stopped by Disney Springs today, however, the store was closed, and signage had been removed.
Here is another look at the current condition of the storefront.
A quick check in the My Disney Experience app also shows that the store is closed.
What Comes Next?
At this time, it is unclear why Sanuk closed or what will move into the store’s former location.
Hopefully, however, we will get more details soon.
