If you missed the Horizons: Disney Experience Showcase at this year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, there’s a lot to catch you up on. (And that’s putting it lightly.) The panel was packed with reveals and announcements for the Disney Parks.
From new lands to exciting animatronics–the future is bright for Disney Parks! And the updates weren’t limited to the domestic parks…the overseas parks have a lot to look forward to, too!
Shanghai Disney Resort
A new Spider-Man attraction is coming to Shanghai Disneyland! Riders will join Peter Parker on a high-speed (coaster) adventure.
Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland will debut a new Tony Stark and Spider-Man (lots of Spider-Man representation) attraction, where Spider-Man has to protect us–and Stark Industries technology–from his foes.
Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is getting a new nighttime spectacular in January 2025, which will project on Sleeping Beauty Castle and down Main Street.
Disneyland Paris’ second park, being renamed “Disney Adventure World,” will feature a new attraction themed after The Lion King. The area will also have shopping and dining options that help immerse guests into the classic story.
In 2026, World of Frozen will open in Disney Adventure World, and a new nighttime experience will debut in the park’s new lake, Adventure Bay.
Tokyo Disney Resort
Tokyo Disneyland will get a new nighttime spectacular, debuting September 20th, that features superheroes in their first park appearance!
The future of Disney Parks is bright! We can’t wait to hear more about all of these projects! But in the meantime, stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com for the latest in all things Disney.
