Disneyland Park Announces Re-Opening Date For Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes; Refurb Date for Jungle Cruise
If you plan on visiting Disneyland Park later this month, I have great news!
With work finishing up on the passageway between New Orleans Square and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the area is expected to reopen on August 19.
Perhaps even more excitingly, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes will reopen when it does.

The classic Disneyland attraction has been closed since July 8 as part of the park’s transformation of Critter Country to Bayou Country.
The Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree Restroom Will Also Open at This Time
The passageway’s reopening will not only facilitate the return of the Explorer Canoes and help alleviate some of the congestion on the walkways around the Rivers of America!

Finally, the lower-level restrooms at the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree will also open at this time, though the recently renovated restaurant will not debut quite yet. When it does, however, it will have an all-new Country Bear theme! I can’t wait!
Jungle Cruise Will Close For a Three-Week Refurbishment in September
Turning our attention from Bayou County to Adventureland, Disneyland Park has also announced that Jungle Cruise will undergo a three-week refurbishment.

The renovation is expected to begin on September 16 and will be routine. There are no major changes expected at this time.
