Disneyland Guests Rattled After 4.4 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Southern California
Guests visiting the Happiest Place on Earth quite quite the shock this afternoon when a 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit the Los Angeles area.
While Disneyland was over 40 miles away from the earthquake’s center (roughly 3.3 miles east of Dodgers Stadium), guests spending a day at the resort reported feeling tremors. One guest posted on X that the earthquake hit while they were at Pixar Pal-A-Round at Disney California Adventure.

Other guests reported that they had not noticed the earthquake but were only made aware after getting an alert on their phones.
Disneyland Attractions Briefly Closed
Despite the limited effect that the earthquake had on Disneyland Resort, it appears that a large number of attractions closed this afternoon.

By the look of things, the closures were precautionary, and the rides quickly reopened.
The ESPN Los Angeles Studio Also Felt the Quake
The California earthquake was also captured live on ESPN during NBA Today. Host Malika Andrews informed the audience of what was happening, noting that ESPN Los Angeles studio was shaking.

For now, it does not appear that ESPN Los Angeles or Disneyland was dramatically affected by the quake. We will continue to monitor for updates, however, and pass them along.
