BREAKING: A New ‘Lion King’ Land Is Coming to Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris
30 years The Lion King hit theaters, the classic Disney animated film is finally getting its own Disney Parks ride!
During tonight’s Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase, Chairman of Disney Experiences, Josh D’Amaro, announced that a new Lion King land, complete with a log flume, is coming to Disneyland Adventure World at Disneyland Paris!

A new area of the park, Pride Lands, will be dedicated to the characters, songs, and stories that have made The Lion King so special to fans over the last thirty years. The new land will feature Lion King-related shopping, dining, and an all-new attraction!
Follow Simba’s Journey
Guests who just can’t wait to be king will be able to experience a new log flume attraction that will take guests from the heights of Pride Rock to the caverns below as they follow SImba’s journey from the cocky cub to the heroic king.
Guests can follow Simba’s journey from cub to king when the first-ever attraction inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Lion King” debuts at Disney Adventure World in Paris.
Interestingly, the concept art seems to feature the live-action versions of the Lion King characters. It remains to be seen how the attraction stylizes them.
According to Disney, however, the attraction will feel just like you stepped into the movie (No matter which version it is)!
As Disney Adventure World continues its park-wide transformation, fans will soon be able to explore the settings of all their favorite Disney films!
