Follow Along With Us on the First Night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Today is the FIRST day of the 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Sure, it’s only August, but who says you can’t celebrate Halloween early? We’re here to take you with us as we explore the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night of 2024 — complete with checking in, special decor, entertainment, and more. Let’s gooooo!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates
In 2024, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place on select evenings between August 10th and October 31st in Magic Kingdom. Prices range from $119 to $199 for guests ages 10 and up.
Some party dates have already sold out but there are some dates still available — so don’t wait too long to get your tickets!
Party Hours
The party officially kicks off at 7PM, but ticketholders can enter the park as early as 4PM, giving them an extra three hours to explore Magic Kingdom before the party even begins.
The party lasts for five hours in total, until midnight, which is plenty of time to have all kinds of spooky fun!
Map & Checking In
We arrived at Magic Kingdom around 4PM. A Cast Member was standing outside with a sign welcoming guests to the party!
The lines to get inside were definitely growing as we walked to the entrance.
Signs were displayed to show where party guests could enter Magic Kingdom versus day visitors with regular tickets.
And we’re in! Note that tonight’s party is sold out.
There are signs directing party guests where to go.
To check into the event, even if you arrive before the party begins at 7PM, you must visit a wristband distribution center. We checked in for our wristband around 4:15PM, in Tomorrowland.
Upon checking in, we received a wristband…
…and a map detailing everything there is to know about the party. Click here to see more of the map!
Trick-or-Treat Trails
Trick-or-treating is a huge part of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Note that you don’t actually HAVE to trick-or-treat, but if you want some complimentary candy, that’s where you need to go.
You can use your map to find each trick-or-treat trail or look for the large inflatables marking each trail. At night, they light up!
At check-in, Disney gives you a bag for your candy, and each trail offers similar candy.
This year’s bag is double-sided!
If you’re looking for allergy-friendly options, you can pick up a teal-colored treat bag from a Cast Member. When you visit trick-or-treat trails, you’ll receive a teal token, and you can redeem your token(s) for special treats from Allergy-Friendly Centers!
These centers are located at the Liberty Square Ticket Office (until 12AM) and the Chamber of Commerce (until 12:30AM).
