D23: Ride Vehicle Debuts For King Thanos Multiverse Attraction

D23: The Ultimate Fan Event is officially underway in Anaheim, California. The weekend-long event will celebrate Disney’s past, present, and future, and we at MickeyBlog could not be more excited.

While fans will have to wait until Saturday for the big Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase, where Josh D’Amaro will give guests a glimpse at the future of the Disney Parks, we are already starting to get an idea of what Disney could announce.

For example, in the D23 showroom, guests can get a first look at the ride vehicles for an upcoming King Thanos Multiverse attraction that may be coming to a Disney Park soon!

The Long Awaited King Thanos Attraction

A King Thanos attraction was initially teased at the 2022 D23 Expo as an E-ticket ride that would take guests on a multiversal adventure. Following the attraction’s announcement, updates were few and far between. This led many fans to speculate that the ride had been canceled.

Then, at last year’s Destination D23, Josh D’Amaro previewed the King Thanos Multiverse attraction. At the time, Disney also released concept art for the ride’s vehicles.

A Look at the Ride Vehicle

Now, it looks like Disney is ready to announce the attraction in full. Guests visiting D23: The Ultimate Fan Event can see an actual ride vehicle from the upcoming attraction.

The new vehicle seems to be inspired by the time suits Tony Stark created in Avengers: Endgame. According to Disney, it combines Xandarian jump point technology (as seen in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind) with Wakandan science to allow guests to jump through the multiverse.

The ride vehicle also looks similar to those used in Tokyo DisneySea’s Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure.

If there was any doubt about who the attraction’s big bad would be, a giant cutout of King Thanos is prominently featured. This version of Thanos was successful in defeating the Avengers in Endgame.

While fans will have to wait until Saturday’s Disney Parks panel for more details, it looks like Disney is finally ready to unveil its E-ticket attraction for Avengers Campus.
