Bob Iger Teases “A Big Announcement” About Disney Parks at D23: The Ultimate Fan Experience
D23: The Ultimate Fan Event is set to kick off today in Anaheim, and we could not be more excited!
For the biggest Disney event of the year, thousands of Disney fans have already decided on D23 to enjoy a weekend celebrating the past, present, and future of The Walt Disney Company.
Before kicking off D23: The Ultimate Fan event this afternoon, Disney CEO Bob Iger sat down with Good Morning America to preview the event and discuss what it means to Disney.

“Every time I’ve been to this event … I leave with a sense of incredible pride, but actually, a real sense of joy seeing what impact we’ve had on people all over the world, and to see it up close,” Iger said. “It’s an extraordinary feeling.”
Iger Teases a “Big’ Disney Parks Announcement
The crowning jewel of D23: The Ultimate Fan Experience will be the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase, hosted by Josh D’Amaro. There, Disney will lay out its future plans for the Disney Parks and give fans a preview of what is to come.

While Iger did not want to give away any of the surprises that Disney has in store for fans this weekend, he did promise that “there are many.”
When it comes to the Horizons panel, he also teased “a big announcement this weekend about the Parks’ experience and the incorporation of one of the latest robotics technologies into a character.”
