‘Inside Out 2’ Gets Digital and Blu-Ray Release Dates
After dominating the box office and becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time, Inside Out 2 will soon be available on streaming and home video.
Beginning Tuesday, August 20, the latest Pixar blockbuster will be available to buy for $29.99 or rent for $24.99 on video-on-demand platforms, including Prime Video and Apple TV.

The film will also get a physical release on DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and 4K Steelbook on Tuesday, September 10.
A Return to Form For Pixar
The biggest film of 2024, Inside Out 2, has grossed an astounding $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office. Lauded by critics and fans alike, the long-awaited sequel to 2016’s Inside Out has once again put Pixar at the top of the animation world.

Released to theaters on June 14, Inside Out 2 reunites audiences with Joy, Sadness, and the rest of Riley’s Emotions. From Headquarters, the team must help Riley navigate her greatest challenge yet — puberty.

When Will ‘Inside Out 2’ Hit Disney+?
During yesterday’s Q3 earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that the success of Inside Out 2 helped drive subscribers to Disney+ to watch the original film.
At this time, we do not have a date for when the sequel will land on Disney’s flagship streaming service, but when it does, it will be interesting to see if the film’s box office success can be repeated.
