Disney Legend Tony Baxter said HELLO to MickeyBlog this afternoon in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Who Is Disney Legend Tony Baxter?
Tony Baxter was only 23 years old when he was hired as a Disney Imagineer back in 1970.
In the following years, he lent his exceptional talents to iconic, fan-favorite attractions like Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and EPCOT’s Journey Into the Imagination, among many, MANY others.

Baxter eventually landed the role of Senior Vice President of Creative Development at Walt Disney Imagineering. Although he stepped down from this role in 2013, Baxter continues to work with Disney as a mentor and creative advisor.

MickeyBlog Meets Mark Henn in Disneyland
Mark Henn may not be an official Disney Legend YET, but that all changes at the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony this weekend, where Henn will be honored along with Disney icons like James Cameron, Harrison Ford, Joe Rohde, and Frank Oz.

Who Is Disney Legend-to-Be Mark Henn?
Known for his astounding talent for hand-drawn animation, Henn served as the lead animator for many of Disney’s princesses, including Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Tiana.
