FULL TOUR Under the Sea Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
We recently covered all the details behind the new Standard Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
Now, we have access to the resort’s 5th Sleeper rooms inspired by The Little Mermaid.
Let’s take a look inside and see what’s new!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
If you have not stayed at a Disney Resort before, you’re in for a treat at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
This resort is part of Disney’s Moderate collection – a step up from their more affordable Value Resorts like Disney’s Pop Century Resort or the All-Star Resorts.
Inspired by the different areas of the Caribbean, this immense resort features five distinct areas: Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Trinidad, and Aruba.
The newly renovated Under the Sea 5th Sleeper rooms are located in the Trinidad section of the resort.
These rooms are also near the hub for the Disney Skyliner, giving you easier access to reach EPCOT and Disney’s Holywood Studios.
Under the Sea Room Tour
First, let’s check out the outdoor entrance…
The room placard has a tile-inspired appearance with brown, blue, and faded yellow colorways.
As we open the door, we find a queen-sized bed, a queen-sized pull-out couch, and a child-sized pull-down bed.
The pull-down bed reveals an underwater mural of Sebastian’s iconic Under the Sea musical spot.
When unused, the bed pulls back up easily as extra seating and storage.
Above, you’ll find outlets and a small shelf for phones, glasses, toys…
The second, Murphy-style bed has handles you can pull down into a queen-sized bed.
A convenient coffee table acts like a rest for your morning coffee or evening snacks.
Across from the main queen-sized bed lies a dresser with a safe, a refrigerator, and a coffee station.
You’ll find standard coffee fixings and teas in your room, which are refillable by Mousekeeping. You also have an ice bucket for cooling down beverages.
Nearby is a programmable thermostat for your comfort. The air conditioner is underneath the window.
Above the dresser lies the flatscreen, wall-mounted television. You’ll have access to your favorite shows and catch resort and park information from the main screen.
Bathroom Tour
Entering the bathroom, we are greeted with colors of browns, blues, and whites, reminding us of the sandy beaches of the islands.
Two sinks offer more room for getting ready in the morning, and Disney toiletries (our favorite!) are available.
A closet is also available with hangers, an ironing board, extra pillows, and blankets.
When closed, the closet looks like a wicker basket. Additional storage is on the side of the sinks, along with an extra trash bin.
The toilet and shower are in a separate room. This shower has a glass sliding door with metal fixtures.
Above the toilet is a photo of Sebastian and Flounder exploring the seas.
So, there you have it! A full-room tour of one of the Under the Sea 5th Sleeper rooms available at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
