Kevin Feige Confirms That a White Vision ‘WandaVision’ Spinoff Is on the Way

Marvel president Kevin Feige has confirmed that a WandaVision spin-off starring Paul Bettany’s White Vision is in the works.

The long-rumored project was first reported on in October of 2022, with WandaVision creator Jac Shaeffer set to oversee the spinoff. The second version of Vision was introduced in Episode 8 of WandaVision. Initially, White Vision was created by S.W.O.R.D. and tasked with entering Westview and destroying Wanda.

Eventually, however, White Vision and the Vision created by Wanda’s magic face-off, and Wanda’s Vision transfers his memories into White Vision. Remembering who he really was, White Vision declared, “I am Vision” and flew away.

Although the series has seemingly been in the works for at least two years now, updates have been scarce. Eileen Shim joined the show as a writer in May 2023, confirming that it had not been canceled.

Then, in May of this year, it was reported that the new Vision series would debut in 2026. Additionally, Jac Schaeffer left the project to focus on Agatha All Along. To replace her, Marvel turned to Stark Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas.

In a recent interview with Inverse, Kevin Feige briefly mentioned the upcoming Vision series, admitting that his love for Picard led him to seek out Matalas.

“That’s how I got to know him,” Feige, who has been outspoken about his Star Trek fandom, said. “It was from his amazing [work on ‘Picard’ Season 3]. I said: This is incredible. I don’t know how this exists. Let me find the person who made this.”

When Will the White Vision Series Debut?

At this time, the White Vision project still does not have an official title. It is, however, the first live-action series that Marvel has picked up in two years.
