Disney Cruise Line Teases Something Villainous Coming to the Disney Destiny
As part of Disney’s multi-year expansion of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Destiny is scheduled to set sail in December 2025.
The sister ship of the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny will be themed after Disney’s heroes and villains, drawing inspiration from classic Disney stories.
“The Disney Destiny will celebrate our most legendary Disney stories and characters, bringing them to life in new and exciting ways exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager of the Disney Cruise Line.

“As we continue to expand our fleet, the Disney Destiny will further strengthen our position as a leader in family cruising as we offer even more ways for families to experience Disney magic and world-class service at sea.”
On board the ship, guests will have the chance to encounter heroes and villains alike, including characters from The Lion King, Hercules, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Disney Villains Are Coming?
While many of the details surrounding the Disney Destiny remain under wraps, it looks like the Disney Cruise Line is set to announce something villainous.
In a new Instagram post, DisneyParks asked fans if they were “Ready to enter your villain era on the #DisneyDestiny?”

Alongside the cryptic caption, Disney shared images of Cruella de Vil, Hades, and Scar peering through portholes.
Interestingly, three days ago, Disney shared a similar post teasing “Heroic encounters coming to the #DisneyDestiny soon.”

That post was accompanied by photos of Simba, Minnie, and Edna “E” Mode.
Clearly, something is coming.

While it remains to be seen what Disney Cruise Line has in store for fans, the latest tease fits in well with what we know about Disney Destiny.
