Could a Tropical System Impact Your Disney World Vacation?
Could a tropical system impact your upcoming Disney World vacation? The National Hurricane Center is tracking a system that has a medium chance of turning into a tropical depression or storm.
As of early this morning, local weather is on alert, as most of Florida is within the system’s potential path.
Latest Weather Update
If you are visiting Walt Disney World this week, central Florida is looking to be hot with the potential for daily storms.
Temperatures are in the low 90s, but hopefully these partly cloudy conditions will provide some much-needed shade and relief.
Forecasters are monitoring these conditions and predicting some type of development within the next two days, including the possible formation of a tropical depression around midweek.
If it develops into a named storm status, it could become Tropical Storm Debby.
Impacted Areas
The National Hurricane Center’s main area of concern is actually a wide range that includes the northern Caribbean islands and extends into the Florida Peninsula by the end of the week.
Initially, South Florida was the main bubble of concern, with possible directions heading towards the Atlantic or the Florida Keys. However, it is difficult to predict the paths of storm systems in early development.
