A Woman Has Died in a Fatal Accident on EPCOT Center Drive

In what looks to be a tragic accident, a 23-year-old woman from Winter Garden, Florida, has died in a single-car crash near Walt Disney World.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (via Click Orlando), the crash occurred just before 10 p.m. on EPCOT Center Drive, south of Buena Visa Drive. The incident took place on Disney property within the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District.

The Incident Occurred Tuesday Night

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the woman was driving a 2024 Hyundai Tuscon northbound on EPCOT Center Drive when the vehicle ran off the road to the left. The reason for the divergence is currently unclear.

The woman was traveling on EPCOT Center Drive when her vehicle drove off the road and into the grass median.

The SUV then traveled onto the grass median. Continuing north, its front left wheel struck a traffic sign support pole.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers stated that the woman was wearing a seat belt during the crash. Unfortunately, the accident was fatal.
