Disneyland Cracks Down on Ticket Scalpers for After Hours Events

Tickets for this special Halloween event are already being resold at high prices, with some listed for as much as $900 on StubHub.

The original retail price ranges from $134 to $189.

According to MousePlanet, over 600 Oogie Boogie Bash tickets are available online through various reselling platforms, leading buyers to be concerned about their validity and potential revocation.

Disney has shared that they can identify and will revoke tickets sold through unauthorized sites.

How fast did Oogie Boogie Bash sell out? Just 11 days!  The event which occurs on 27 select nights from August 25 through October 31 at Disney California Adventure is a hot ticket and grows in popularity and demand each year.

Despite Disneyland’s efforts to clamp down on scalpers, tickets continue to appear on reselling sites, and purchasing them through resellers is risky.

Disney has an established history of working with multiple sites to identify and void resold tickets. They also have strict policies prohibiting the resale of tickets after purchase. According to Disneyland’s website:

• Disneyland tickets are non-transferable and may not be sold.
• Theme park reservations are void if transferred or sold.
• Disney can cancel any tickets at any time for any reason.
• Disneyland tickets are non-refundable.
