Recognizing Florida Non-Profits
Every year, Disney recognizes multiple nonprofit organizations that are bringing joy, happiness, and magic to families through Disney Grants.

Since the company has been operating in Florida for more than 50 years and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is celebrating its 50th anniversary, Pioneer Hall was the perfect place to celebrate.
If you have been lucky enough to see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Review, you know that this show is all about fun!

Rena Langley, Senior Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs at Walt Disney World, shared:
These organizations enrich Central Florida in unique and vital ways. We are grateful for the positive change they inspire and want to help them do more of that.
How Disney Grants Impact Florida’s Future
Each nonprofit will use the funding in unique ways to strengthen Florida’s workforce, provide access to education and resources, establish youth programs, and more
- Camp Boggy Creek is a place where children with serious illnesses escape the “real world” and focus on having fun at no cost. The grant will help establish the “Arts for All” camp, where high school students with disabilities or serious illnesses can learn and perform in a safe environment.
- Marine Discovery Center makes nature accessible to all through first-hand experiences. Their grant will allow students from land-locked counties in Central Florida opportunities to visit, learn, and explore a new ecosystem.
- Children’s Home Society of Florida helps students prepare for standardized tests and assists high school students who may not be able to visit college campuses to tour various universities. The Disney Grant makes secondary education more attainable for local students and also provides STEM summer programs.

These are just a few of the ways the hard-working nonprofits are utilizing the Disney Grants. It is exciting to see how these groups are creating positive change in the Florida community.
