Disney Icon Josh Gad Visits Arendelle in Hong Kong Disneyland
It’s been over a decade since Josh Gad gave life to loveable snowman Olaf in Disney’s 2013 animated classic Frozen.
The fan-favorite actor, who also played loyal sidekick LeFou in Disney’s 2017 live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, is beloved by Disney fans for his wit, charm, and fun-loving energy.
When World of Frozen opened in Hong Kong Disneyland late last year, we were dazzled by the real-life version of Arendelle.
The new Frozen-themed land features colorful, Norweigan-inspired architecture, festive treats at Golden Crocus Inn, and two exciting attractions — Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs and Frozen Ever After, which is very similar to the Frozen Ever After ride in EPCOT.
If you’ve been dreaming of a visit to this fairytale Disney destination, you’re certainly not alone! This week, Josh Gad himself paid a visit to the home of his optimistic alter ego, Olaf.
Let’s check it out!
Josh Gad Visits World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland
When the real-life actor behind Arendelle’s most magical snowman visits the real-life version of Arendelle, you KNOW you’re in for a treat!
Naturally, when Josh Gad visited World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland this week, he brought his trademark silliness along for the ride!

The actor frolicked happily through the streets of Arendelle, encountering Elsa and Frozen 2‘s Bruni along the way.
Gad also rode Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, where he stopped for a chat (and a spat) with Oaken himself.
Of course, even celebrities aren’t immune to the charms of a Disney gift shop! Gad also engaged in a Frozen-inspired shopping spree, picking up “necessities” like a Frozen Lego set and Olaf character ears. He even snagged a child-sized Anna costume — which he’s pleased they carry “in his size.”
Wondering what Josh Gad is up to next? The beloved actor will reprise his role as Olaf in the third installment of the Frozen franchise. Frozen 3 is set to hit theaters in 2026!
