Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries To Undergo Long Refurbishment at Disney’s All-Star Sports

Despite their reputation as being at the bottom of the Disney World hotel totem pole, I love the Disney All-Star Resorts.

All three Disney All-Star Resorts include a food court, gift shop, multiple pools, and an arcade. Sprinkle in some good old-fashioned Disney character theming, and what more could anyone want!

Well, if you planned on visiting Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort this summer, then I have some bad news.

Sport Goofy Gifts and  Sundries To Close For Refurbishment

From July through September 2024, Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries will be undergoing an extensive refurbishment.

For those who don’t know, the gift shop is based on the Goofy About Sports cartoon series and is the place to “score with logo souvenirs, sports apparel, character goods, snacks and supplies at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.” It is located in the resort’s main building — Stadium Hall.

While the gift shop will remain partially open for guests during the refurbishment, they may hear the construction work from nearby.

The good news is that fans will still be able to get all their favorite Disney merchandise!

How Long Will the Refurbishment Last

At this, Disney has not given a concrete date for when the refurbishment of Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resorts will conclude.
