‘Inside Out 2’ Will Soon Be the Highest-Grossing Pixar Film EVER
Despite the fact that the film has now been in theaters for four weekends, Inside Out 2 continues to deliver unprecedented box office numbers.
The last time we checked in on the Pixar film’s progress, Inside Out 2 was climbing the all-time animated rankings at both the domestic and international box office.

After making another $78.3 million at the international box office this weekend, the film has now grossed $683 million overseas and $1.216 billion in total.
Where ‘Inside Out 2’ Currently Ranks
Overall, Inside Out 2 is now the fifth highest-grossing animated film of all time at the global box office, trailing only Incredibles 2 ($1.24 billion), Frozen ($1.27 billion), The Super Mario Bros. Movie ($1.36 billion), and Frozen II ($1.45 billion). By the middle of next week, the Kelsey Mann-directed film will pass Incredibles 2 to become Pixar’s highest-grossing film of all time.

Domestically, Inisde Out 2 currently has a gross of over $500 million. To become the highest-grossing animated film of all time at the domestic box office, it will need to reach Incredibles 2′s total of $608 million.
The Biggest Animated Film of All Time
As Inside Out 2 continues its box office run, the narrative has changed. The film should not only be seen as a return to form for Pixar and much-needed success for Disney, but soon, we will remember the return of Joy, Sadness, and the rest of Riley’s Emotions as the biggest animated film of all time.
