Who’s ready to celebrate the Fourth of July — on July 3rd??
Happy Fourth of July!
While it’s not yet July 4th, Disney World visitors have been able to celebrate the holiday early with red-white-and-blue foods, photo ops, decor, and lots more.
There are two opportunities to watch Magic Kingdom’s special patriotic fireworks display and we’re visiting the park early to catch the show!
Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky
In place of Magic Kingdom’s current nightly fireworks show, Happily Ever After, Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky takes place on July 3rd and 4th at 9:20PM.

For the show, Cinderella Castle gets a special red, white, and blue look.

There were also DJs in front of Cinderella Castle!
You can also PARTY IN THE USA 🇺🇸 and dance the night away with DJ dance parties in front of Cinderella Castle and throughout the park✨

As you can see, Main Street, U.S.A. was crowded when we secured our spot around 8PM, which we expected.

In case you missed it, Magic Kingdom Park Reservations are completely sold out for July 4th.

The trees by the hub were also decorated in red, white, and blue lights!

Unlike last year, Magic Kingdom is open until 11PM today and tomorrow. (In the past, the park has remained open until 12AM on the 3rd and 1AM for the 4th.)
If you’re staying in a Disney World deluxe hotel, however, you can take advantage of Extended Evening Hours tonight (July 3rd) from 11PM to 1AM.
