New Fourth of July Treat is Giving Stars, Stripes, Sprinkles & Sweetness in Disney Springs
The Fourth of July is fast approaching, and the promise of all these red, white, and blue Disney treats has got our MickeyBloggers feeling ever-so celebratory in anticipation!
Today, we headed to Disney Springs for a particularly patriotic patisserie visit — come with us to see what we ordered!
Amorette’s Patisserie
Always looking so elegant and enticing over here in the Disney Springs Marketplace is Amorette’s Patisserie – a fan-favorite treat location that never fails to enchant.
Known for their incredible commitment to themed treats for every celebration, Amorette’s is always going to draw a crowd during a holiday week here at Disney.
So, with the Fourth of July on our minds, we wanted to see what was on offer this week — and we’re so glad we stopped by!
Freshly added to that mouth-watering display case is the beautiful “Fourth of July Minnie Mouse Dome,” an adorably Disney dessert sure to make anyone feel patriotic.
Just look at how cute this is!
Costing $9, this sweet treat consists of white chocolate and strawberry-flavored mousse, layered around vanilla chiffon cake and coated in glaçage (icing).
For themed effect, the dome is a vibrant red in color, dotted with blue and white stars and plenty of red, white, and blue sprinkles.
Two perfect mouse ears sit atop the dome with a glittering golden bow to finish the look, which is perfectly giving Minnie on the Fourth of July!
Once we had finished admiring this adorable dessert, it was time to take a bite and see how it tasted.
We always have high hopes when it comes to Amorette’s… but did it live up to our expectations?
The Cutest Summertime Treat
According to our MickeyBlog reporters, this treat was certainly a cute, sweet hit in our books. Fresh and full of summertime flavors, this really did get us in a celebratory mood!
While the taste of strawberry was on the subtle side, the vanilla and white chocolate flavors shone through. The crispy sprinkles and chocolate decorations added a fun texture to the soft mousse, in one of those beautiful combinations where all the elements of the dessert just worked perfectly together.
It sounds delicious, and we’re so glad our reporters enjoyed this!
If you’d like to try this one for yourself, be sure to head down to Disney Springs over the next week. There are plenty of delicious treats to be tried across Walt Disney World for the Fourth of July celebrations, but we’d always recommend Amorette’s as a great, can’t-go-wrong option for such a special occasion.
Enjoy, everyone!
