Opening DATE Revealed For Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that Din Tai Fung will soon be opening on the west side of Downtown Disney.
The restaurant will be the only freestanding Din Tai Fung location in the world, as it is primed to deliver the soup dumplings, wontons, noodles, and steamed buns that have made the restaurants so popular around the country.

Just a couple of days ago, we were able to dine at the new Din Tai Fun location, as the eatery had a soft opening. Perhaps unsurprisingly, we were wowed by the new restaurant’s architecture and delighted with the food!

The Grand Opening Will Be on July 1
Well, I am happy to report that after just over a week of soft openings, Din Tai Fung will have its grand opening at Downtown Disney on July 1. The restaurant took to social media to share the good news.

“Bao Bao is ready to welcome you to the grand opening of Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney District on July 1! Make your reservation today and come experience our full menu beginning opening day,” they wrote.

During the soft opening phase, Din Tai Fung was offering a limited menu. Nevertheless, we were amazed by both the number of options and the quality of the food.
When the restaurant officially opens on July 1, it will do so with its full menu. I can’t wait to see what else they have cooked up!

To celebrate the restaurant’s opening, Din Tai Fung will also be releasing its first-ever collection of apparel and accessories. These new items were inspired by the restaurant’s Taiwanese heritage and its mascot, Bao Bao.
