We’re simple people. When Disney releases a new food item, we’re getting it. Even when the item is…questionable (we’re looking at you, pickle milkshake.)

So, naturally, we fast-walked (safety first) over to Magic Kingdom this morning to check out some new snacks. Let’s give them a taste, shall we?
New Food at Gaston’s Tavern
Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom is home to two new snacks, the Ham and Gruyère Tart and Crème Brûlée Croissant. We’re hungry, so let’s dig right in!

We’ll start with the Ham and Gruyère Tart for $9.49. It’s a crispy croissant topped with ham and gruyère and comes with a bag of chips. You guys–this thing tastes just as good as it looks! We’re not kidding, this has to be one of our new favorites in Magic Kingdom.

The dough is flaky and crispy, while the cheese is melted and gooey with delicious slices of ham. The combo is everything. Seriously, we can’t say enough good things about this item–you need to try it!

It also comes with a bag of chips…but there’s not much to share here. You know how these taste.

The Crème Brûlée Croissant is $5.29 and is a croissant filled with vanilla bean custard. How does this compare to the amazing tart?

Somehow, someway, Disney pulled out yet another win with this item. Again, the croissant was flaky and fresh, which paired well with the crispy sugar.

The inside has layers of dough and vanilla bean custard. This is, without a doubt, one of the yummiest snacks we’ve had in the park.
