‘Inside Out 2’ Opens in China and Brazil — Here’s How it Fared
As Inside Out 2 continues to open in more international markets, the Pixar blockbuster is closing in on the $500 million mark.
The highly-anticipated sequel to 2015’s Inside Out grossed another 23.4 million at 43 international box office markets yesterday, bringing its foreign total to $226.7 million.

In total, the film has now grossed $481.4 million worldwide.
‘Inside Out 2’ Opens in Brazil and China
After dominating four new European markets on Wednesday, Inside Out 2 finally arrived in Brazil yesterday. Once again, the film topped the box office, grossing $3.2 million. That number was the biggest opening of all time for an animated film, the highest debut of the year, and the fifth-highest premiere of all time.

Today, Inside Out 2 opened in China, where it brought in $2.6 million. That number puts the film on track for a $10 million weekend. According to Deadline, the film has a 9.5 audience rating from Maoyan, which is the best for any Hollywood film this year.
Pixar Is Back
By the end of the day Friday, Inside Out 2 will have grossed over half a billion dollars. After a rough couple of years for Pixar, today, there is no doubt that the studio is once again standing on top of the animation world.
