ALL the Halloween Happenings Coming to Disneyland Resort This Fall!
Disneyland Resort’s spooktacular Halloween season will kick off this year on August 23, and we here at MickeyBlog could not be more excited.
Halloween was already one of the best times to visit the resort, but this year, Disneyland Resort is taking things to another level.

While we have already brought you all the details on this year’s Ooogie Boogie Bash, here is what else fans visiting Disneyland Resort can expect when spooky season finally arrives!
Haunted Mansion Holiday Returns
Foolish mortals and happy haunts will soon be able to socialize with Sandy Clause again when Haunted Mansion Holiday returns to Disneyland this August.

As construction continues on the attraction’s queue, Haunted Mansion Holiday will use a virtual queue this fall.
To keep fans intrigued until the Haunted Mansion Holiday makes its triumphant return, Disney has shared a sneak peek at the “ghoulish gingerbread creation” that will decorate the dining room this year.

Mickey and Minnie Debut New Costumes
While we are still over four months away from Halloween, Mickey and his friends are already planning their costumes.

This year, Mickey and Minnie will meet guests in new attire inspired by skeletons and colorful patchwork patterns.
‘Mickey’s Trick and Treat’
For the first time ever, Mickey’s Trick and Treat show will be held daily during the Halloween season. The show will be performed in the Disney Theater at Disney California Adventure.

Young guests will not want to miss out on this opportunity to sing and dance with Mickey, Minnie, and their friends! There will even be a mad scientist hosting the show!
‘Halloween Screams’
Speaking of entertainment, Halloween Screams is all set to return to Disneyland Park this Halloween season.

The nighttime spectacular features otherworldly projections, spooky special effects, and frightful fireworks! It is the perfect ending for a fall day at Disneyland.
Main Street Pumpkin Festival
Also returning this year is the Main Street Pumpkin Festival. During the Halloween season, the entrance to Disneyland Park will once feature amazingly carved jack-o-lanterns on the thoroughfare’s doorways, porches, and windows.

On Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure, the Halloween motifs will continue. Keep your eyes open — you may even spot the Headless Horseman and his jack-lantern head.
Radiator Screams Returns
Radiator Springs is getting ready for its transformation into Radiator Screams. The residents of Cars Lands will once again don their Haul-O-Ween costumes.

Additionally, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween will be coming back this year!
Guardians of the Galaxy- Monsters After Dark
As night falls on Disney California Adventure this Halloween Season, Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! will transform into Guardians of the Galaxy- Monsters After Dark.

The Guardians may have successfully escaped the Collector’s Fortress, but they left Groot behind. Guests must help Rocket distract the creatures that have been released so that the team can rescue Groot.
Spooky Speciality Food and Drinks
As with any Disneyland seasonal celebration, Disneyland is promising special food and drinks are on the way.

While the resort is holding off on releasing all of the details, they are promising that Halloween funnel cake will be returning to Stage Door Cafe at Disneyland and al pastor tacos inspired by Coco at Paradise Garden Grill in Disney California Adventure.
Plaza de la Familia Returns
Back at Disney California Adventure, the park will bring music, decor, festive foods, and live entertainment to the park through November 2, 2024, for Día de los Muertos.

The heart of the celebration will be Plaza de la Familia, a musical celebration based on Pixar’s Coco. The show will be performed several times a day and will debut a new story and costumes this year.

Guests will also be able to take a photo with a hand-animated figure of Miguel!
Disneyland’s Hotels Get In on the Fun
The Halloween celebrations will continue even outside of the Disneyland parks. At Disneyland Hotel, guests can dine with Goofy and his friends, who will be wearing seasonal outfits, at Goofy’s Kitchen.

Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will debut an all-new autumn-inspired breakfast and brunch complete with autumn decor and characters in new festive costumes.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
Last but certainly not least, Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will return to Downtown Disney. For the first time ever, the family scavenger hunt for Disney-themed pumpkins will also take place at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
