Changes Are Coming to Disney’s Fantasmic! Dining Packages This August

There is no better way to cap off a day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios than by taking in a performance of Fantasmic!

For 26 years, the nighttime spectacular has entertained and thrilled audiences with its classic story, pyrotechnics, and musical fanfare. For many, a trip to Walt Disney World is not complete without seeing the show.

In a testament to Fantasmic’s continuing popularity, Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers dining packages that allow guests the option for dinner AND a show. 

How the Fantasmic! Dining Packages Work

For those who don’t know, Fantasmic! dining packages include dinner at one of the park’s signature restaurants and a guaranteed seat for the nightly performance of Fantasmic!

For years, the dining package has included:

• An entrée and appetizer or dessert at select full-service restaurants or one (1) full buffet (where applicable), along with a nonalcoholic beverage.
• One voucher for guaranteed seating at Fantasmic! in a reserved area.

Soon, however, these details will change.

Changes Are Coming August 29

Beginning August 29, 2024, Disney will be making made some alterations to the Fantasmic! dining packages. 

After that date, the packages will include:

• An entrée and dessert at select full-service restaurants or one (1) full buffet (where applicable), along with a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage, for Guests 21 and older).
• One voucher for guaranteed seating at Fantasmic! in a reserved area.

Hollywood & Vine

Essentially, the dining package will no longer include an appetizer option but will give guests the ability to opt for an alcoholic beverage.

A Price Increase

Along with these changes, a corresponding price increase will also come on August 29.

Essentially, no matter which restaurant you choose to include in your Fantasmic! dining package, the price will increase by $6 for adults. Here is a chart showing how the new pricing applies to each restaurant.

So, if you are someone who likes to capitalize on the Fantasmic dining package, make sure you plan ahead. The experience will soon be a bit more pricey.
