‘Andor’ Star Adria Arjona Reveals When Season 2 Will Premiere
While Star Wars fans currently have The Acolyte to keep them occupied while they wait, the fanbase is still clamoring for the arrival of Andor Season 2.
Widely considered the best of the Star Wars streaming series, Tony Gilroy’s entry into the galactic canon wowed fans in 2022 with its gritter take on a galaxy far, far away. Now, however, it has been almost two years since audiences caught up with Cassian Andor.

Though Season 2 of Andor was initially expected to arrive in August of this year, the series has since been removed from the Disney+ release calendar. Since that time, fans have speculated on whether or not we will see the series return this year.
Adria Arjona Says Fans Will “Freak” When They See Season 2
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Andor star Adria Arjona discussed the upcoming season of the Star Wars series and revealed when the show would debut.

“Season 2 of ‘Andor’ is coming out hopefully next year. I think people are going to freak when they see it. It’s so much bigger, smarter — Tony [Gilroy, the showrunner] really outdid himself,” she said.

Arjona’s comments echoed those of Stellan Skarsgard, who teased that Andor would return “towards the end of the year or early next.”
What We Know
While we may not know exactly when Season 2 of Andor will premiere, we do know that it will feature a time jump of one year every three episodes. The story of the upcoming season will also directly lead up to the events of Rouge One.

Although it sounds like next year is the earliest that fans can expect to see Andor return, hopefully, we get an official announcement from Disney soon.
