After months of waiting, CommuniCore Hall & Plaza has FINALLY opened in EPCOT! The brand-new, multi-use facility is home to a new Mickey & Friends meet-and-greet and will also host various food and entertainment events for the park’s four annual festivals.
But for fans of Disney’s Encanto, the opening of CommuniCore Hall also means the arrival of an EPIC new addition to EPCOT’s entertainment lineup.
The new ¡Celebración Encanto! sing-a-long debuted today on the CommuniCore Plaza stage. Come along with us as we join the Family Madrigál for a fabulous and fun-filled fiesta!
¡Celebración Encanto! Debuts in EPCOT
Located at CommuniCore Plaza in World Celebration, the ¡Celebración Encanto! invites guests to sing along to their favorite tunes from Disney’s 2021 animated film Encanto.
The fan-favorite film follows Mirabel as she navigates the ups and downs of magic, family, and forgiveness.
For a limited time, guests can join Mirabel and Bruno Madrigal for this magical, musical extravaganza! The show runs several times per day on the CommuniCore Plaza stage.
The My Disney Experience app lists today’s showtimes as 9:45AM, 10:45AM, 11:45AM, 1:25PM, 2:25PM, 3:25PM, and 3:45PM.
Surrounded by vibrant, festive decor, the show highlights the heartwarming story and unforgettable music of Encanto.
The show kicks off with a round of EncanTrivia, where fans can test their Encanto knowledge.
The festivities then kick off with The “Family Madrigal.” Scenes from Encanto accompany each song.
As the song ends, it’s time for another round of Encanto trivia. At this point, young guests from the crowd are chosen to participate in a special performance of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”
During the song, the chosen kids hold umbrellas and rats as the Madrigals warn about the family’s black sheep.
Following the conclusion of the song, guests are invited to fill the center section in front of the stage.
Note that up until this point, guests are not permitted to stand in the center section.
After more Encanto trivia, audiences learn special dance moves for the show’s next song, Isabela’s “What Else Can I Do.”
It’s then time for more Encanto trivia (if you haven’t picked up on the pattern, there are two trivia questions between each song), and more young audience members are chosen to help perform the next song.
As Luisa’s “Under the Surface” begins to play, the young guests are tasked with showing off their muscles.
Mirabel and Bruno Join the Party!
When the song ends, Mirabel and Bruno themselves come out on stage before inviting everyone to dance. Moving through the crowd, the duo even starts a conga line.
Mirabel took the stage in her traditional look and trademark green glasses…
…and Bruno made an appearance that had everyone talking — about Bruno, naturally.
After celebrating with the audience, Mirabel and Bruno are called home by Abuela ending the show.
