WATCH: The Third ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Trailer Teases Lady Deadpool
In celebration of National Best Friends Day, Marvel Studios released the third trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine.
While they are known for their faux online feud, and will play frienemies in the upcoming Deadpool film, Jackman and Reynolds actually have a close friendship that stretches back 17 years.

“I hope everyone gets to work with their best friend at least once in their lifetime. I know I can’t wait to finally do it,” Reynolds wrote in his X post, sharing the trailer.
A Team-up Years in the Making
While the new trailer did not necessarily reveal any further plot points of Deadpool & Wolverine, there were some notable moments.
The clip kicks off with “Red and Yellow” by Irv Da Phenom, playing as Deadpool cheekily tells Wolverine that he has always dreamed of teaming up.
“I’ve always wanted to ride with you, Log’. Deadpool… and Wolverine! Can you imagine the fun? The chaos?”
Breaking the Fourth Wall
Later in the clip, the duo find themselves standing in front of a giant Ant-Man skeleton, which will seemingly serve as antagonist Cassandra Nova’s (Emma Corin) headquarters.

Lady Deadpool?
Perhaps the biggest revelation in the third Deadpool & Wolverine trailer, however, was a glimpse of Lady Deadpool.

As comic book fans know, Lady Deadpool is a female variant of Wade Wilson named Wanda from an alternate universe.
After the character was revealed, fans took to social media with theories about who will be portraying the character. While the prevailing thought seems to be that it will be Reynold’s wife, Blake Lively, making a cameo appearance, others have speculated that it will be Taylor Swift.

That later has long been rumored to be portraying Dazzler in the film.
