Disney Kicks Off Its 90 Years of Donald Duck Celebration and a NEW Cartoon Is on the Way!
Donald Duck is celebrating his 90th birthday this year, and The Walt Disney Company can’t wait to celebrate!
To kick off the festivities, Disney shared an exclusive first look at new Donald-inspired products on Good Morning America and even had a surprise party for everyone’s favorite duck in the studio!

In total, the segment highlighted over 70 new Donald-themed products from 20 licensees.
These included popular brands like American Tourister, Casetify, and Loungefly.

Later this summer, additional products from brands like Cakeworthy, Citizen, Forever 21, GAP, PEZ, Simple Modern, and more will hit shelves.

The months-long 90 years of Donald Duck celebration will unfold across the Walt Disney Company, including special releases from Walt Disney Animation Studios, consumer products from the Disney Parks, and more!

June 9 will be a big day for Donald fans when The Walt Disney Studios Restoration and Preservation Team releases two newly restored classic Donald Duck cartoons on Disney+- In Crazy Over Daisy and Out on a Limb. Both shorts feature Chip and Dale and were directed by Disney Legend Jack Hannah.

Finally, June 9 will also see the debut of an all-new short from Walt Disney Animation Studios titled D.I.Y. Duck. It will be the studio’s first new Donald shot since 1961! The cartoon was written and directed by soon-to-be Disney Legend Mark Henn and produced by Dorothy Kim.
