‘Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts’ Is Closing at Disney California Adventure
Hot on the heels of the news that Disneyland Resort is ending the Club Pixar dance parties two months ahead of schedule, another Disney California Adventure show has come to an end.
According to Disneyland officials, Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts, the popular stage show that has been a staple of the Avengers Campus since the land opened in 2021, will have its final performance on June 30.

The interactive Doctor Strange show takes place in the Ancient Sanctum.
“In the late 1940s, a Stark Industries complex was built on the location. Decades later, Tony Stark invited Doctor Strange to the Avengers Campus to enlighten recruits about the mystic arts. Doctor Strange suspended the area’s cloaking spells and revealed the Sanctum to the world,” Disney says of the area.

The Show May End Early
The show itself features Doctor Strange performing magic tricks, in addition to appearances by other Marvel heroes.
Interestingly, however, on the Disneyland website, there are no scheduled performances of Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts after June 22, which could indicate that the show will wrap up early.

While no reason for the closure of Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts was given, there does appear to be entertainment cuts taking place at Disneyland.

According to the OC Register, Doctor Strange will continue to make appearances in Avengers Campus after the show closes. There is no word on if anything will replace the live show itself.
