Is That a Splash Mountain Reference We Spot in the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Queue?
With previews of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure now underway at Magic Kingdom, we are starting to get a better feeling for the details and props that make up Disney World’s newest attraction.
While Disney released a POV video depicting the entirety of the new attraction itself, the Bayou Adventure queue has largely been shrouded in secrecy.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
As that veil has begun to be lifted, we are starting to get a feeling for how intricately detailed and well-themed the new queue is.
We have previously given a full tour of the new attraction, including the queue. Now, however, I want to draw your attention to a small detail in the queue’s office.
A Reference to Br’er Rabbit and Br’er Bear?
High above the typewriter in Tiana’s office, small rabbit and bear figures can be spotted. The figures are on the same shelf as the princess’s photos with her father.
A subtle Splash Mountain tribute can be found in the Tiana Bayou Adventure queue.
This seems to be a subtle tribute to Br’er Rabbit and Br’er Bear and one of the few Splash Mountain references we have seen!
A bear and a rabbit?!
Here is a closer look at the knick-knacks. While they don’t exactly resemble the Disney characters, the idea is there.
