VIDEO: New Emotions Take Control in the Final ‘Inside Out 2’ Trailer
In just ten days, Pixar is set to return to theaters in a big way with the long-awaited Inside Out 2.
The highly anticipated sequel to 2015’s Inside Out will take audiences back into the mind of Riley, where Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust are still at the helm.
As Riley’s teenage mind becomes increasingly complicated, the emotions from the first film are shocked when Anxiety, Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy move in.
Ahead of the film’s release, Pixar has released the final trailer for Inside Out 2.
An Older Riley and New Emotions
In the clip, audiences catch up with the now-teenage Riley, who is perhaps a little over-emotional.
“I’m too gross to ever go anywhere again,” she yells after realizing that she does not smell good.
The new trailer also explores the minds of Riley’s parents, who have markedly different reactions to the events going on around them.
Inside Riley’s mind, meanwhile, Anxiety introduces the teenage girl’s new emotions to Joy, Sadness, and the rest of the original emotions.
The trailer also introduces Nostalgia into the mix, an older-looking emotion with rose-colored glasses. She fondly recalls when the new emotions moved into Headquarters 30 seconds earlier.
