WATCH: Hayden Christensen Welcomes Amandla Stenberg to the ‘Star Wars’ Family
The Acolyte star Amandla Stenberg has made no secret that she is a Star Wars fan.
Between showing up at Star Wars Celebration dressed as Padme, sharing her love of the prequel trilogy, or even admitting that she has been studying Star Wars lore on Wookieepedia, the rising star has endeared herself to Star Wars fans with her authentic love for the franchise that she is now set to enter.

Knowing that Stenberg was such a big fan of the prequels, Star Wars orchestrated a special message from Hayden Christensen himself to Stenberg before The Acolyte officially premiered.

“Hi Amandla, I’m Hayden. I just wanted to send you a quick message to say congratulations. And I’m very excited for the show, and wanted to wish you all the best and welcome you to our Star Wars family. Hopefully I’ll get to meet you soon, maybe at a Star Wars Celebration or something,” Christensen said.
Stenberg Was Thrilled
Stenberg was clearly touched by the video, pausing for a second to admit that she was “shaking.”

“Hayden, I am currently still shaking a little bit from receiving this video, but I just wanted to extend all my gratitude for your love and support. It means the world to me, ‘cause I’m so honored to step into this universe. And the path you’ve carved in, it means to much to me. So thank you,” she said.
