Disney Characters Host Surprise Dance Parties on Temporary Hollywood Studios Stage
If you have been following along here at MickeyBlog, you know that later this week, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is set to close early for a private event.
While it doesn’t happen very often, occasionally, the parks do close early for such events, causing a headache for regular visitors who may not have known that they would have to vacate the park so early.
On Thursday, June 5, the SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando has rented out Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for a “night of food, fun, and rides.”
Additionally, Maroon 5 will be performing during the event, taking the stage on Hollywood Boulevard.

While the early closing on Thursday will be disappointing for guests who planned on spending their whole day at Hollywood Studios, there is some good news!
A Disney Dance Party on Hollywood Boulevard
With the stage now set up and ready for Maroon 5, Disney is holding dance parties on Hollywood Boulevard!
DJ Danny Garcia was in the house today, helping to get the party started!
Once the music got going, Disney characters joined Cast Members in dancing with guests!
We were able to spot Chip, Dale, Baloo, and Louie, all out having a good time!
Interestingly, Chip ‘n’ Dale were wearing vests that had their own signatures on the back!

As you can see, everyone had a good time!
Will There Be More Parties in the Future?
With the infrastructure for the Maroon 5 concert set to be in place for a couple more days, we will likely see more dance parties in the future.
Finally, if you plan on visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Thursday, make sure you plan ahead! With the park closing early, you may want to hop to another park or shift your plans.
