Hollywood Studios Closing Early Next Week for Private Event
Disney World trips can take a LOT of planning, from where you’re going to stay, how you’re getting there, and what you want to do while you’re in the parks. So, it’s important to know about any changes that could affect your upcoming trip.

And, next week, one of the theme parks will be closing early!
Hollywood Studios Closing Early
Hollywood Studios will be closing early on June 5th due to a special event. The park will close at 5:30PM instead of the usual summer closing times, which can be from 9-10PM.

Since the park is closing before it gets dark outside, there will be no Fantasmic! performances on June 5th. So, keep this in mind when you’re planning your upcoming visits to the parks.
The special ticketed event will take place from 7:30PM to 11:30PM. The park will shut down to the public in order to host a private event for the SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando.

And, Maroon 5 will be performing as the guest artist during the private event! They’ll be on the center stage on Hollywood Blvd for a little over an hour this night.

So, if you hear “She Will Be Loved” or “Moves Like Jagger” coming from the general vicinity of Hollywood Studios on June 5th — this is why!
If you were considering being in Hollywood Studios on June 5th, maybe plan on just going in the morning and hopping to another park for the evening (you can still watch fireworks in Magic Kingdom or EPCOT). Or, use it as a reason to book a fun dinner that night at a resort or in Disney Springs!
