NEW: Operating Hours Released for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Reopening in July
Get ready for the return of more thrills at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer! Rock ‘n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is (possibly) reopening on July 27th, 2024, and we are counting down the days!

This is one of our must-do attractions when visiting Walt Disney World, and we have been watching closely for any details.
We just noticed one more update today! As of Saturday, July 27th, operating hours for this exciting attraction were added to My Disney Experience.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Coming Soon
As you know, this fan-fave attraction was closed to guests starting January 8th for a lengthy refurbishment.
According to the Walt Disney World website, Rock ‘n’ Roller closed due to “routine refurbishment” work.
We also reported a few weeks back that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster appears to be removed from the refurb list as of July 27th.
Just today, we took another quick peek at the My Disney Experience app, which provided a few more details.
The first screenshot still shows that the attraction is closed for routine refurbishment and plans to reopen in the summer of 2024. It also provides basic location information and details for the attraction.

But take a good look at the bottom! There are operational hours listed for Saturday, July 27! Can this further confirm the attraction’s grand reopening date and time? We hope so!

We will be sure to keep our eyes open for more updates as we approach summer and the reopening of this attraction. Although no official date has been released yet, we hope more details will come soon.
