NEW Cupcake, POG Slush & More Sweet Treats Arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Yum! Get ready for new treats and sweet snacks that just dropped at Mara in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Whether looking for a quick bite on your way out to the parks or wanting to satisfy that sweet tooth throughout the day – some new goodies have just arrived at this Savanna-inspired dining location.
Let’s indulge in these new summer offerings spotted today at The Mara!
The Mara Cupcake
The first treat we tried was the new Mara Cupcake.

This summery bite costs $6.29 and features a yellow cake filled with passionfruit-orange-guava juice and topped with vanilla and guava buttercream icing.

The cupcake was pretty tasty, but the POG filling was definitely the highlight. It was so good we wish we could get it on its own to enjoy in other treats!

The flavor of the guava buttercream was pretty light compared to the vanilla, and though it tasted good, we wished that it was a bit stronger.

The green color and candy pearls are a fun touch for this new sweet!

Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava Frozen Slush
Here is a great way to cool off this summer at Disney World! This new drink combines Minute Maid passionfruit, orange, and guava flavors in an icy drink for $6.29.

And you can enjoy a boozy version with added vodka or rum.
This frozen slushy is delicious, and we predict it will be a huge hit. It’s incredibly refreshing and perfect for hotter months.

In addition to the POG-inspired offerings, Mara had a few new treats debut, including this sunflower cake for $8.99 and brownie for $4.99.

The brownie replaced the Nala Brownie that was here previously. There is also a Coffee and Coconut Brownie for $4.99.
