PHOTOS: Two New Signs Have Been Installed at The Cake Bake Shop!

If you are a frequent reader here at MickeyBlog, then you know that we have been closely following the construction of the Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.

Originally announced in November of 2022 as a replacement for the ESPN Club, construction on the BoardWalk’s latest sweet shop has been slow and steady.

The last time we checked in on the new eatery’s progress, the building had been painted gray, and work was still being done on the structure’s windows.

Well, I am happy to report that one month later, we are back with another Cake Bake Shop update, and even more progress has been made!

Two New Signs Have Been Installed

When visiting Disney’s BoardWalk Resort today, we noticed that two new gilded signs have been installed on the building’s exterior.

The identical marquee-style signs read “The Cake Bake Shop” and are located on either side of the new building.

Here is a closer look at the signs. The design has an air of elegance and charm.

While we don’t know for sure, it looks like lights will soon be installed around the signs. This will give Disney’s BoardWalk Resort another luminous location!

When Will The Cake Bake Shop Open?

Although The Cake Bake Shop was initially expected to open in 2023, that obviously did not happen.

Instead, the new restaurant is slated to welcome guests at some point this year. While we don’t have an exact opening date, the establishment began holding job interviews in March, which would seemingly indicate that we won’t have to wait too long.
