New Cast Member Costumes Debut at Magic Kingdom’s Emporium
Even after over 50 years of operation, Main Street, U.S.A. remains one of the best-themed lands in all of Disney World.
Walking right down the middle of Main Street feels like stepping back in time. From the beautiful facades and the popcorn lights to the sounds of the Main Street Vehicles coming down the street, like the best Disney lands, the details tell Main Street’s story.
With that in mind, I am happy to report that the Cast Members at Main Street’s Emporium have gotten new costumes, adding yet another chapter to the land’s storied history.
A Look at the New Costumes!
Today, when visiting the shop, we spotted new Emporium Cast Member costumes featuring patterned skirts, multi-colored vests, and fun new ties!
The new costumes come in several different varieties.
As you can see, pastel colors dominate the new costumes.
According to a Cast Member we talked to, the new designs began to debut yesterday. The costumes reportedly have different variations.
For example, the vests are reversible, with a different design on their flip side. Additionally, there are a multitude of ties that Cast Members can choose from.
If you ask me, the new costumes look great! They are much more colorful and brighter than the previous outfits worn by Cast Members.
Harmony Barber Shop and Crystal Palace Cast Members Also Have the New Threads
As it turns out, it is not only Emporium Cast Members who get to don the new threads. Over at both Harmony Barber Shop and Crystal Palace, we noticed that Cast Members were also rocking the new costumes!
Here is a look at the reverse side of the vests we saw in the Emporium. It looks like bow ties are also an option for Cast Members.
All in all, the new Cast Member costumes look great!
