With top-notch entertainment, beautiful staterooms, and incredible ports of call, Disney Cruise Line is always heavy on the Disney magic. And much like Disney Parks across the globe, Disney Cruise Line offers an incredible array of delicious treats and magical eats!

What’s Included (and NOT Included)

Ready to eat like royalty? On Disney cruises, your package includes a wide variety of food choices. From casual dining to fine dining and everything in between, Disney Cruise Line will have you eating like the king or queen you are!

Your Disney cruise package includes buffets, convenient quick-service dining, and 24/7 room service.

You’ll also enjoy three highly-themed table service restaurants as part of Disney Cruise Line’s “Rotational Dining” system. Instead of eating in the same dining room each night, you’ll rotate between the ship’s three Main Dining restaurants, where you’ll be joined by your tablemates and wait staff. 

On Disney Fantasy, Rotational Dining restaurants include Enchanted Garden, Animator’s Palate, and Royal Court.

Finally, your Disney cruise package includes all-you-care-to-eat soft-serve ice cream and unlimited soft drinks including coffee, tea, and soda.

This is a significant perk considering many cruise lines only offer soft drinks at an upcharge.

While Disney cruises include most dining options in their package prices, some optional food and drink choices do come at an additional cost.  

Specialty coffees, specialty kids’ drinks, popcorn, and certain specialty foods are excluded from your package cost. You’ll also pay out of pocket for fine dining locations like Disney Fantasy’s Palo and Remy.

Perhaps most significantly, adult beverages are not included in your cruise package price. However, you can purchase beer, wine, and specialty cocktails at the various bars and lounges on board.

Casual Eats & Magical Treats

A Disney cruise is the perfect opportunity to slow down, relax, and let down your hair (figuratively speaking, of course!).

While cruises offer opportunities to dress to the nines, most guests enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and relish the chance to unwind. Luckily, Disney Fantasy offers plenty of laid-back dining options where you can keep it casual!

Cabanas Restaurant

For breakfast and lunch, Cabanas offers buffet-style dining with traditional American and international fares. Located on Deck 11, Cabanas is the largest restaurant on the Disney Fantasy.

Cabanas provides a fun atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating.

At Cabanas, you’ll find a wide variety of breakfast foods including eggs, grits, sausage, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, fresh fruits, pastries, and a variety of juices as well as coffee and tea. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

Of course, you’ll also find magical eats like those famous Mickey waffles!

For an extra special treat, be on the lookout for these delicious churro Mickey waffles! On 7-night sailings, these delicious treats will be available on either the sixth day or the second day at sea.

As a buffet, Cabanas is self-serve and all-you-care-to-enjoy. You’ll find your food options at the various food stations around the restaurant. 

Around 11:30 AM, Cabanas switches over to their daily lunch menu.

You can find everything from pizza and salads to crab legs and peel-and-eat shrimp.

Our team also spotted favorites like chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese, along with a variety of interesting side dishes and desserts.

Meanwhile, a salad bar offers fresh vegetables and a variety of salad dressings.

Cabanas is full of standard crowd-pleasers like burgers and fries, but you’ll also enjoy international cuisine including a variety of delicious Asian dishes. Sushi is available at lunch on certain days.

Flo’s V-8 Cafè

Located on Deck 11 of the Disney Fantasy, Flo’s V-8 Cafè is another casual dining option for laid-back cruise meals.

The Cars-inspired eatery functions like a food court, with several different windows offering three separate menus.

Luigi’s Pizza offers several pizza varieties, including a vegetarian option and a daily special.

At Tow Mater Grill, you’ll find BBQ favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, bratwurst, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and of course, french fries.

Finally, Fillmores Favorites offers fresh options like sandwiches, salads, wraps, paninis, and fresh fruit.

Flo’s V-8 Cafè serves lunch and dinner daily and is also open late to accommodate those midnight munchies.

Caffinate at Cove Café and Vista Café

Vacation just isn’t vacation without a fancy cup of coffee!

On Disney Fantasy, coffee fanatics will flock to Cove Café and Vista Café, each of which offers an impressive array of sweet treats and caffeinated beverages.

At Cove Café, specialty drinks are available to purchase at an additional cost.

Both cafes offer magical eats like pastries, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and croissants.

Unlike the specialty drinks, baked goods are complimentary and included in the price of your cruise package.

For an extra dash of Disney magic, enjoy a hot beverage complete with fun latte art featuring favorite Disney characters like Mike and Sulley from Monsters Inc.

Be sure to pick up a Café Fantatíc card, which can be used on ANY Disney Cruise Line ship. You’ll get a FREE specialty coffee drink free when you buy five!

Rotational Dining 

Rotational Dining is an extra-special perk that you’ll find only on Disney Cruise Line cruise ships. While most major cruise lines have one main dining room that hosts dinner each night, Disney Fantasy features three highly immersive dining rooms.

Guests are joined by their tablemates and waitstaff as they rotate through the three dining rooms, experiencing each unique atmosphere and menu.

The dress code for Rotational Dining is mostly “cruise casual” (no swimwear or tank tops), but varies by night. Depending on the length of your cruise, you may also experience one or more special dress events, including Pirate Night and an optional dress-up night.

Royal Court

Inspired by classic Disney Princess films, Royal Court is a truly regal affair. The restaurant offers table service for breakfast and lunch but transitions to Rotational Dining in the evenings. 

The restaurant features French-inspired continental fare including pomegranate-glazed duck, spinach soufflé, and lobster and jumbo shrimp cocktail.

With its ornate decór and lavish menu, this Royal Court is fit for a princess!

Enchanted Garden

At Enchanted Garden, you’ll find a fabulous, fairytale-worthy atmosphere and an array of magical eats. 

With romantic trellises, glass flower lights, ornamental posts, and even a 7-foot-tall Mickey Mouse fountain, Enchanted Garden certainly lives up to its name.

During the day, the restaurant hosts an American-style buffet. But Enchanted Garden is at its best after sunset, when the impressive uplighting gives the room a truly magical effect. 

At dinner, you can expect a “market-style menu” including North Atlantic lobster ravioli, curried apple and carrot soup, and pan-seared seabass. Dessert may include delicious treats like chocolate torte, almond meringue cake, and steamed lemon buttermilk pudding.

Animator’s Palate

Finally, Animator’s Palate is a fan-favorite among veteran Disney cruisers – and for very good reason!

Animator’s Palate offers not only dinner  – but dinner and a show! The specifics vary by ship, but guests on Disney Fantasy will enjoy a chat with Finding Nemo‘s Crush and watch as their own drawings come to life. This interactive experience is really something special!

The menu is a fusion of Pacific Island cuisine, Asian dishes, and fresh, California fare. Selections include a taleggio cheese flatbread, smoked salmon tartare, and Angus beef tenderloin, among other interesting and delicious dishes.

Fine Dining

In addition to Rotational Dining, Disney Fantasy also offers two adults-only fine-dining establishments at an additional cost. To enjoy a meal at either Remy or Palo, you’ll need to make a reservation in advance. This can be done online or once you’re on the ship.

These elegant eateries are the most luxurious dining experiences aboard the Disney Fantasy, so be sure to dress for the occasion. Disney suggests formal, semi-formal, or dress-casual attire for your adults-only evening. 

Remy

Chic and sophisticated, Remy features a French-inspired menu created by 3-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement and Victoria & Albert’s very own Chef Scott Hunnel. 

Menu items include duck, langoustine, elk, sablefish, and Kobe beef.

Remy also serves the Remy Champagne Brunch and the Remy Dessert Experience, which includes a 5-course dessert extravaganza and discussion with Remy’s Executive Chef and Pastry Chef.

Palo

Palo is a classic Italian dining experience complete with Italian-inspired decor, live music, and sweeping ocean views. Guests can choose to dine inside the dining room or al fresco on the deck.

Naturally, Palo’s menu is decidedly Italian and includes specialties like antipasti, seafood, and of course, classic pasta dishes.

Other Onboard Treats

If you’re feeling peckish between meals, you’re in luck! Disney Fantasy offers plenty of delicious snacks to satisfy pretty much any craving.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with unlimited soft-serve ice cream at Eye Scream Treats, located on the port side of Deck 11.

The flavors will rotate, and our team will spot chocolate, vanilla, blueberry, banana, mango, and more throughout the sailing.

If savory is more your style, fill up a festive, Disney-themed popcorn bucket for just $1.50. Bring your own popcorn bucket from the parks, or purchase one of these adorable Pixar-themed buckets onboard. They each clock in at about $20. 

Nothing’s better than a big bucket of Disney popcorn while you take in some Broadway-caliber entertainment!

You’ll also find an assortment of Disney-themed tumblers available for purchase. 

Finally, you’ll find all manner of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the many lounges and bars on board. From specialty juice and coffee to champagne, wine, and tropical cocktails, the Disney Fantasy drink menu checks every box!

Disney Cruise Line does not offer an alcoholic drinks package, so adult beverages are available at an additional cost. 

Be sure to try the Drink of the Day, which changes daily and is offered at a discounted price.

Castaway Cay

If your Disney cruise sailing includes a stop at Disney’s Castaway Cay, your dining experience will continue on shore. Just like onboard the ship, all food, soft drinks, and soft-serve ice cream are included in your cruise package. Alcoholic beverages, along with specialty drinks and snacks, are available at an extra cost. 

On Castaway Cay, you can dine at Cookie’s BBQ and Cookie’s Too BBQ (both located on the Castaway Cay Family Beaches), or at Air Bar BBQ (located on Castaway Cay’s adults-only beach). 

The food on Castaway Cay is largely BBQ and island fare, including hot dogs, hamburgers, fish, ribs, and chicken. You’ll also find fresh fruit, salads, sides, and desserts, along with a handful of vegetarian and plant-based options.
