Celebrate Disney’s ‘Haunted Mansion’ With a NEW PB&J Treat
If you’re wondering what happy haunts have for lunch, we think we’ve found the answer.
A brand new treat inspired by a classic “initial” lunchtime offering has just materialized over at the Magic Kingdom, in a commemorative celebration of the release of Disney’s Haunted Mansion!
After all, it may feel like there are 999 treat options available across Walt Disney World, but we think there’s always room for one more!
This morning, our MickeyBlogger Ed stopped by Sleepy Hollow, the fan-favorite treat kiosk in Liberty Square that’s famed for its eye-boggling waffle concoctions, as well as its limited-time specialties.
But, it was their brand-new treat that Ed was interested in today: the Peanut Butter and Jelly Pop. Let’s place our order, and check it out!
Costing $5.49, this yummy-looking treat sounds exactly like a summertime crowd-pleaser. It’s effectively just layers of cakey, jammy, peanut-buttery goodness, all served in the most aesthetically-pleasing tube inspired by the Haunted Mansion’s iconic wallpaper!
Now, before we give you Ed’s review, it’s worth noting that a similar-looking treat was also available to order at Sleepy Hollow back in January 2022. With the same packaging, the chocolate-cherry “Chilling Chamber Pops” went down a treat among guests, so we’ve got high hopes that this new flavor is also going to be a hit!
So, what did Ed think?
Well, we’re thrilled to report that he had nothing but good reviews for this treat, which seemed to do exactly what it said on the tin. Just like a classic PBJ, this cake was nutty, fruity, sweet, and cozy, with an appreciated addition of some crunchy peanuts scattered on top for texture. Delicious!
If you’re looking for a light snack on your next trip through Liberty Square, this is certainly a treat we’d recommend you order. Plus, with the added bonus of the tube being so photogenic, it’s a fabulous way to celebrate the release of Haunted Mansion!
This adorable PBJ pop is just one of a series of new, limited-time treats that are now available across Walt Disney World in celebration of Haunted Mansion — you can read the full MickeyBlog review of Disney’s most highly-anticipated movie here.
