NEWS: A New Experience is Coming to Downtown Disney in Disneyland
Downtown Disney has been going through quite a transformation in Disneyland Resort.
Disney has been in the process of reimagining Downtown Disney and we recently learned that the construction should be completed over the next 18 months. And now we have some big updates about more changes in Downtown Disney!
Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio and Beignets Expressed
Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen recently underwent construction to emerge with a new look, a new name, and a new menu! It is now called the Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio, with Beignets Expressed operating as a quick service spot.
New selections include dishes such as Lobster & Crawfish Sliders, Chile-Spiced Honey Glazed Grilled Salmon, Gumbo LA-LA, Grilled Open Faced Lobster BLT Po-Boy, and the Reef & Beef.
Beignets Expressed is a counter service spot serving specialty beignets with options for flavors such as Snickerdoodle, Fruity Crunch, and Bananas Foster.
Clyde’s Hot Chicken
Clyde’s Hot Chicken is a new cart located near the Disneyland Monorail, and you can visit it to get hot chicken on a stick made fresh and homemade daily, with three different heat level seasonings available.
The Alley
Coming soon is The Alley, which will be located in the courtyard next to Splitsville Luxury Lanes. This space will include live music, interactive games, lounge areas, and dining seats.
We’ll update you when we know more!
Downtown Disney’s Future
Future plans for Downtown Disney include new restaurants such as Din Tai Fung, which will serve Chinese cuisine, and Paseo and Céntrico, where you can get Mexican dishes, and head over to Porto’s Bakery and Cafe to grab some California-Cuban cheese rolls and pastries.
