Disney+ to Be Available on New Apple Vision Pro Headset at Debut
Disney and Apple are teaming up for one of Apple’s newest products.
At Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 5th, Apple and Disney announced plans for a new collaboration and here’s what’s going on.
Apple Vision Pro and Disney+
Disney CEO Bob Iger took the stage at WWDC to talk about the brand-new upcoming Apple Vision Pro.
The Apple Vision Pro is an augmented reality headset coming soon, with the ability to switch between augmented and full reality. The device is controlled entirely by you, no controller necessary. Watch movies, scroll through your social media, call your friends on FaceTime…the possibilities are nearly endless!
According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, “It’s the first Apple product you look through, not at.”
Bob Iger said, “We’re so proud to yet again be partnering the greatest storytelling company in the world with the most innovative technology company in the world to bring you real-life magic.
“These are just a few of the ways we can bring Disney into your world with Apple Vision Pro and we’re looking forward to sharing more in the coming months.”
The main way Disney and Apple are collaborating with the Apple Vision Pro is by integrating Disney+ into the headset for launch. That’s right, you’ll be able to watch Disney+ through the headset!
Apple and Disney shared some images of what that might look like if you opted to watch The Mandalorian, for example.
It looks like a really fun way to bring Disney into your home, whether you want to see Mickey hanging out on your coffee table…
…or Magic Kingdom in your kitchen!
