More Changes Coming to Terminal C at Orlando International Airport
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that Terminal C at Orlando International Airport has recently opened bringing more gates, space, and amenities to MCO In addition, Brightline is making the terminal a stopping point on its new high-speed rail network connecting Orlando to the South of Florida. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that WFTV is reporting that additional work is being done at Terminal C.
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (the group that oversees Orlando International Airport) is currently in the process of adding additional pedestrian walkways and a rental car lobby to Terminal C.
According to WFTV, the airport is looking for companies to carry out the additional work which will include a 450 ft enclosed, air-conditioned elevated walkway for pedestrians. Also included in the plans is a new area designed to connect Terminal C with the already-built rental car facility that will offer rail, public and private ground transportation.
At the moment, that’s all of the details we have until work is underway. However, readers are encouraged to keep following along with us for further Walt Disney World news and updates. We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.
