A Fun Perk at Disney’s Newest Restaurant Is No Longer Being Offered
In case you missed it, a new Toy Story-themed restaurant recently opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ
Roundup Rodeo BBQ takes guests into Andy’s room for some tasty BBQ, and the restaurant really does make you feel like a small toy — even the servers have to “freeze” when Andy comes near! But there’s one small perk that isn’t currently being offered anymore, and here’s what we know.
Goodbye, Giant Pencil!
One of the most fun elements of dining at Roundup Rodeo BBQ comes at the end of the meal, when we were given a giant pencil (with a regular-sized pen inside of it) to sign the check. How can you not smile?
Note that these pencils were never a souvenir to keep — they were just a fun way to sign the check.

So fun!
Unfortunately, we recently began hearing that the restaurant was no longer handing out these novelty “pencils,” and the reason is why we can’t have nice things.

GIANT pencil!
According to a Cast Member we spoke to at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, Disney has not shared any official announcements regarding the giant pencils yet but confirmed that people have attempted to take them. (How? Why? We have so many questions.)
Another Cast Member said that because of the theft issues, Disney has taken away the giant pencils for now but theoretically should bring them back once things calm down.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ
We shouldn’t have to say this, but please don’t take things that aren’t yours in Disney World! The giant pencil is a fun perk of the restaurant, not a souvenir to keep. It’s possible that people may have gotten confused, but we recommend asking a Cast Member before assuming a restaurant prop is yours to take home.
Also, where exactly are people putting these giant pencils??

Bo Peep
Hopefully, we’ll see the return of these giant novelty pencils soon. Keep reading MickeyBlog for more Disney news!
