Fire-Breathing Maleficent Dragon Returns to Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade!
We’ve got good news for fans of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. The Maleficent Dragon is back in all her fire-breathing glory!

Disney World invites you to, “Celebrate the spirit of Disney as Magic Kingdom park comes alive with music and dance during a tribute to the tales of Fantasyland.”
This fan-favorite parade features magical floats, paired with original music. Guests can enjoy some of their favorite characters from beloved tales such as Tangled, Peter Pan, and The Little Mermaid.

Fire-Breathing Maleficent Dragon
Last month, Disneyland encountered a snafu during one of its Fantasmic! performances. The Maleficent Dragon went up in flames to the shock and horror of fans watching the epic nighttime spectacular.
As a result, Disney temporarily suspended the use of fire effects in select shows and entertainment experiences globally. Disney World’s Festival of Fantasy Parade was affected, with the fire-breathing element removed for a period of time.
Now, we’re happy to report that the Maleficent Dragon is back to her old ways! Onlookers were excited to see the fire-breathing effect return to the villainous float.
