It’s Disney’s big 100th anniversary this year and there are a TON of ways to celebrate! You can find special snacks, fun decorations, new shows, and more.
Another thing you can find for the festivities is a ton of new merchandise! And, there is even more on the way.
Disney100 Decades Collection
Disney announced earlier this year that it would be released the Decades Collection in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary. It started out in February with the 1920s, with items themed to Steamboat Willie.
Then, in March, we got the 1930s collection with Snow White and The Band Concert.
In April, we saw the 1940s collection featuring The Three Caballeros, Fantasia, and Dumbo.
Now, the 1950s collection is about to be released, and we just got a look at all of the new items coming thanks to Mousesteps.com!
First up, we have these new Mickey Mouse ears themed to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea! If you look at that left ear, it appears that it will open up like a porthole to reveal something.
Here’s the back of the ears! You can see some tentacles on the ears themselves. These will be $39.99.
We also got a better look at the Cinderella Loungefly Mini Backpack that will be released. It shows Cinderella’s dress transformation along with Fairy Godmother and Cindy’s animal friends.
We’d already seen the front, but now we have a look at the back, too! It shows Cinderella’s carriage along with the castle and the 100th Decades logo. This will be $88.
Next is a new pin! This pin shows Goofy taking a picture of Humphrey the Bear…
…and it even prints the picture out! So fun. This will be $34.99.
Alice in Wonderland was released in the 1950s, so you know Disney has to include her somehow! Check out this new MagicBand+ we’ll be getting. This will be $64.99.
Finally, there is a plush of The Shaggy Dog! I mean, how adorable, right?! You can get this for $34.99.
This collection will be released on May 15th at 8AM PT, 11AM ET. Set your reminders, because items can sell out!
