New Pixar ‘Elemental’ Poster Gives Glimpse Into Element City
Following of string of films that went straight to Disney+ and the disaster that was Lightyear, Pixar will be returning to theaters this summer with Elemental.
Getting back to the studio’s roots, Elemental will take viewers to Element City, a place where fire, water, land, and air residents live together.

Pixar’s Elemental
Expectations Are High
In the film, a quick-witted fire element named Ember Lumen meets and befriends Wade Ripple, a water element who works as an inspector living in Element City.
Despite the fact that the two elements can’t touch, the duo fall for each other but will have to overcome their differences and the opinions of those around them.
Needless to say, expectations for Elemental are high. The film will be closing out the 76th Cannes Film Festival, and Disney is considering extending the theatrical windows for both Elemental and the upcoming film Wish, to attract families back to theaters.
While we are still over a month away from the official release of Elemental, Pixar is giving us an idea of what to expect in Element City.

New Elemental Poster
In a new poster for Elemental, we get a glimpse into an average train ride in Element City.

While Ember and Wade stand front and center, a pair of earth elements can be seen to their right. One earth element is reading a self-help book, while the other seems to be a little overwhelmed by her crying kids.

On the roof of the train, two air elements can be seen smiling and enjoying the ride.

It looks like being an earth element has its advantages, as this fellow has sprouted a flower. It looks like it smells good!
Last but not least, we have a couple of other water elements taking a selfie.

One interesting thing to note about this poster is that Ember is the only fire element. I wonder if that speaks to the difficulties fire elements face in Element City? I guess we will have to find out!
Elemental will premiere in theaters on June 16th.
